“ Where do I even beginning work this Thai hot pot restaurant. It was a random choice among the many restaurants in Markham over the holidays. It didn’t disappoint me!!!! The restaurant is grand & beautifully designed. Every detail is worth to pay attention to & fits into the whole picture. They offer a variety of dessert & snack. On that day I started with dessert and for the most part I was only enjoying it while looking at the crowds of people coming in. I’m sorry...I haven’t mentioned about the main course. This is a AYCE hot spot which is quite unique & affordable. The soup base is authentic and very fragrant. Meat & veggies are refillable. The seafood portion is pretty big for 2. Meat & veggies are of course fresh. Drink is cheap. Service is 100/10 Honestly that was one of my highlights of the day. Everything was perfect to atom level. Highly recommend. ”

“ This place was recommended by my brother-in-law, who has been here twice with his friends. It was my first time, and I was immediately drawn in by the restaurant’s stylish and eye-catching design. You get to choose between big hotpot for sharing or each person gets a small hotpot of their own! We ordered a three-person combo, and wow—it was way more food than we expected! You get to choose from a variety of meats, vegetables, or a mix of both, and what broth you want! We also ordered 2 dishes other than the hotpot! My absolute favorite was the curry shrimp—seriously, it was delicious! We didn’t waste a single drop of that sauce—it was like a bite of heaven! For dessert, we got the mango sticky rice. The mangoes were a little sour (probably because it’s not peak mango season), but the sweet cream sauce balanced it out perfectly. On top of that, there’s an all-you-can-eat dessert station, plus unlimited cold appetizers and sauces. And just when we thought we were done—near the exit, there’s an ice cream machine! And let me tell you, the ice cream was delicioussssss! Yes, it’s a bit pricey, but totally worth it if you come every once in a while. Highly recommend! ”

The deep-fried shrimp chips were a delightful treat, and I absolutely loved the veggie platter that came with the special. The service was attentive and made our experience even better. ”

“ I went to JIYU Thai Seafood Hot Pot on a Sunday evening with a group of friends, and we had such a great time. The first thing you notice when you walk in is how nice the place looks—the decor is modern, clean, and just has a really cool vibe. It’s the kind of spot that feels a little fancy but still totally welcoming. We ordered the seafood platter, and honestly, it was amazing. It came out beautifully presented on ice and had such a great variety: crab, abalone, shrimp tofu, scallops, and more. Everything tasted super fresh, and there was also unlimited meats, which made it even better. Between the seafood and the meats, we were definitely full by the end. The broths were flavorful, and cooking everything at the table together made it a fun, interactive experience. The desserts were a nice surprise! They had mousse cakes and even soft-serve ice cream, which was such a good way to wrap up the meal. It’s not something you always get at a hot pot place, so that really stood out. Service was on point, too—super friendly and quick to help us with anything we needed. They kept the table stocked and made sure we were having a good time. Overall, JIYU has everything you want: great food, an awesome seafood platter, nice desserts, and a really cool ambiance. “ Fantastic value for the price, high quality seafood, great broth, overall an excellent experience. Highly recommended. We were a group of 3 and we got the 78.99 seafood special combo for 2, plus a few small a la carte dishes. We're all petite people and not huge eaters so this was a perfect amount of food for us, since it came with veggies, fried rice, and snacks. Keep in mind that if you are actually two people, then you also get unlimited beef and lamb refills with your combo so you will definitely be full - but we did not need it! We had the Tom yum and the coconut soup and they are both delicious. Staff were very diligent about refilling the pot as it cooked down. Unlimited dipping sauce bar and dessert bar were nice touches to round out the meal. Decor is nice, service is fast and friendly, the place is clean. We did Christmas eve dinner here and we were very happy with the experience. My mom said she wanted to come back for her birthday. A great find in the neighborhood! ”
